Arizona, RI (August 21, 2025)— Davit Kelly, Melt Operator, has been with G&S for a committed 24 years.
"My role is to be the best melter I can be," says Davit. " What I enjoy most about my job is melting material that doesn't look like much but then transforms into something beautiful."
Davit takes pride in the variety of projects and initiatives he has been involved in. For instance, he contributed to building the baghouse for the melt room and has assisted countless customers in retaining all the material in their melt to maximize value recovery. "Don't worry, your material is in good hands," Davit assures customers. This reassurance aligns with Gannon & Scott’s mantra of "Recover More, Worry Less."
Over the past 24 years, Davit has been thankful for the relationships he has built with customers and colleagues. His fondest memory at Gannon & Scott is listening to Mr. Jack Gannon talk. Those were moments that left him with lasting impressions.

What most people don't know about Davit is that when he is not pouring a melt, he enjoys working out or playing a good game of pool.
