Phoenix, AZ (May 1, 2025) – Karly Hemshrot recently joined Gannon & Scott as the newest addition to the Customer Relations team.
Based in our Phoenix location, Karly’s role will be instrumental in strengthening customer relationships, managing shipments, and supporting West Coast Operations. We are excited to have her on board!
Karly shares some information about her background prior to joining Gannon & Scott: “I have spent a lot of time in different warehouse environments, most recently in the distribution side of the aerospace industry. I possess knowledge surrounding aerospace standards and ESD requirements.” Her professional background, combined with her skills in account management, inside sales, and customer service, makes her an excellent addition to Gannon & Scott.
“I enjoy a challenge, and learning about an entirely new industry is exciting to me,” Karly says. “I look forward to supporting both the Phoenix and Cranston teams while helping operations run more smoothly.” Karly is particularly eager to contribute to the company's operations and expand her knowledge in the refining industry. She is prepared to tackle any challenges that come her way!
When asked what excites her most about joining the team, Karly mentioned that it was the team itself. “Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, and I can see I have all the tools I need to succeed.” She was drawn to Gannon & Scott after witnessing the team's camaraderie during her interview. “Getting to interact with Susan and John during my first virtual interview gave me a look into the hilarious and wonderful family dynamic that exists here at G&S... firsthand, it was a huge indicator that G&S would be somewhere I would truly enjoy working.” She looks forward to getting to know everyone better and joining the team.
Susan Barnatowicz, Customer Relations Supervisor, shared her enthusiasm about Karly’s arrival:
“When meeting Karly, it was clear that she would be an incredible asset. Her positive attitude, eagerness to learn about the industry, and commitment to building her professional skills stand out. I am excited about the potential she brings and about working with her. Welcome, Karly—we're so happy to have you on board!”
One of Karly's objectives is to hone her customer support skills and gain a deep understanding of the refining industry. Looking ahead at her long-term goals, Karly says, "I would like to continue expanding my knowledge here, possibly outside of customer relations even. I want to continue to grow and help the entire team here at G&S succeed."
You can most likely find Karly doing powerlifting, reading horror novels, and binge-watching K-dramas outside of work. She is also a devoted Stephen King fan and loves spending time outdoors—when the Arizona heat permits!
The newest Customer Relations Representative firmly believes that building a successful team starts with being communicative, inclusive, and understanding. Karly plans to give her best daily efforts and contribute to the company's missions and visions.
